A Trusted Learning and Development Advisor
When it comes to Policy Writing, the elephant in the room is artificial intelligence. The ostrich head in the sand method is being employed by some policy writers. Is your organisation ripe for adapting the opportunities of AI policy writing skills?
Some workplace policy writers will be adamant that, ethically, a workplace policy must be written from a blank slate. Interesting!!! Maybe they are correct – or perhaps they are a little behind the 8-ball. Let’s explore ‘nudging policy writers’. A nudge might springboard a new opportunity and might open the door to future possibilities.
The ironic part about Policy Writing Training is that the rules have not changed. Back in the day, policy writers were concerned about other technology advancements.
The tailored approach works exceptionally well. Policy writing skills and requirements are different in every organisation. Tailoring the content improves the learning experience. It’s one of those courses that needs as much participant input as possible to keep everyone engaged. So a tailored version is recommended.
Policies and procedures act as the ‘how to’ in your organisation. A misinterpreted or mistaken policy can cause enormous harm to an organisation.
I found Matt’s facilitation style easy to listen to, follow and understand. This was an effective online training session. Matt guided the participants effectively between the shared screen in Zoom, the workbook and online breakout rooms.
