A Trusted Learning and Development Advisor
Work does not always go to plan. Priorities change, new information emerges and yesterday’s approach may not work today. Our Agile Thinking Training Course helps participants become more flexible in how they solve problems, make decisions and respond to change.
Participants explore practical ways to challenge assumptions, consider different perspectives and keep moving forward when they do not have all the answers. The course also introduces Agile values and the concept of unlearning, helping people recognise when established habits and ways of working may need to change.
Agile Thinking encourages people to question familiar approaches rather than automatically relying on the way things have always been done. Participants learn to adjust when priorities change, approach problems from different perspectives and respond more calmly when plans change unexpectedly.
The course also explores creative thinking in an AI-enabled workplace and why maintaining independent judgement remains important when technology can generate answers almost instantly.
For teams wanting to explore this area further, our Decision Making Training Course provides additional techniques for making considered workplace decisions.
Participants will learn to:
Agile Thinking is about adapting your thinking without losing sight of the overall goal. Participants learn to recognise when their usual approach is no longer effective, generate alternative options and make sensible decisions when circumstances are uncertain.
The course complements our Change Management Training and Problem Solving & Decision Making Training by developing a more adaptable approach to workplace challenges.
Participants also explore how unlearning can help them let go of outdated assumptions and remain receptive to new ideas. These behaviours support Agile values such as adaptability, responsiveness and continuous improvement.
For additional context on established Agile principles and values, participants can explore the Agile Manifesto
Participants receive a certificate of completion and can opt for a free follow-up refresher course with the original trainer, helping reinforce the concepts and techniques covered during the training.
This Agile Thinking course is available as a half-day or full-day program. Training can be delivered in person at your organisation or preferred venue, or virtually.
A group size of 4 to 10 participants is recommended.
